Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would like to create a calming area to help my students self-regulate and alleviate their distress when they are experiencing strong feelings.

A calming area would allow my students to feel not only cozy but safe in a peaceful atmosphere which will allow them to relax for a few minutes, decompress, and then get back to learning.

I would like to add Flex-Space Comfy Pillows, Best Behavior Bilingual Board Book Collection, Squeeze Scoop Count Ice Cream Shop, and fidgets that will help with their self-regulation.

Having this calming area will benefit my student tremendously
