Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This will be an area where my students will feel safe to let out their emotions. They will feel safe to meditate on their bean bags without feeling constrained. They can use the timers to monitor their time away from what was upsetting them. Students can build with blocks and manipulate the plushies and play dough.

This calming area is a safe place for students to come and unwind when feelings overwhelm them.

The rug will give the students a sense of security and safety due to its soothing texture. All of these materials will help students gather themselves to refocus and then return to their learning environment.
