Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students experience many mixed emotions which they are unable to deal with on a daily basis. They are learning to find healthy ways to be able to express their feelings.

With a reading nook calming space in our classroom and books to learn about their emotions, my students will have an opportunity to practice ways in which they can express their emotions in positive ways.

There will be fidget toys, soothing sounds, multi-sensory materials, and books to help my students to learn how to cope with their feelings and find ways to express their emotions.
