My Project

LAUSD is helping fund spaces and provide tools and resources that will help students build their skills by engaging in mindful activities like journaling, drawing, breathing, and other creative outlets.

Calm-down corners have been proven to be a successful strategy in helping students with big emotions that need to redirect.

These resources will help me create a calm-down corner in my classroom to help my students in times of frustration, sadness, anxiety, and anger. This area will also be used as our classroom library. Thank you for supporting Room 21!
