My Project

Help me give my students with special needs a soothing and calming area for the students to calm, self-regulate and reflect on their emotions. This year my students have been learning different strategies to practice when different emotions and feelings appear in their everyday life, especially during school hours. Please give my students the tools to feel comfortable expressing their emotional needs. Students need a quiet comfortable area relax and express their feelings the proper way. A healthy mind, a healthy state of emotions ,and growth mindset; the students will be ready to focus in the learning environment.

The calming area will allow students to self-regulate their emotions and de-escalate their tensions so they can continue to focus in the learning environment.
