My Project

My students are incredibly kind, caring, and strive to work hard in school. Each day they come to school to do their best!

They have special needs and are taught on the alternate curriculum.

Their needs can make school more challenging for them than their neuro-typical and physically-abled peers. They need a calming area in the classroom and sensory tools to help assist their social-emotional learning needs.

I would love to create a calming corner in my room with a mat, pillows, and beanbag chairs. I also want to include various sensory and fidget toys for them to use to assist in calming down.
