This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting these supplies for my students in order to be proactive in helping them de-escalate in a space that helps them feel safe, secure and joyful.

The calming station/social-emotional space that I currently have is very bare and my students deserve the absolute best!

They are resilient and have overcome many obstacles. The supplies that I have requested will allow me to provide social-emotional psycho-education with visuals and hands on learning. The furniture and visuals will also create a feeling of safety and joy.

Thank you for your consideration! I myself can already visualize not only how amazing these products will look but the spark in their eyes when they see this area revamped!
