Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

First grade is the best time for students to learn all about their feelings! It is important for them to learn about feeling happy, sad, worried, frustrated, etc.

My hope is to give my students a calm space to get in touch with their emotions!

I would love for my students to have ways of getting in touch with their feelings in my classroom by having special tools such as art supplies, yoga poses, blocks, etc. I would love to be able to encourage the class to express how they are feeling independently or with their peers!
