My Project

A calm down space/area will allow my students to be able to not only help with identifying their feelings, but it will also help them to take charge of their their emotions. This will help my students to to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. During the school day, my students struggle with finding a calm down space/area that they can feel safe to use in the classroom during the school day. With floor cushions, rest mats, and plushies, my students will be able to use these materials to support them in their social emotional well being.
