Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will be dedicated to creating a calming area in my pre-k classroom. My four-year-old students love school and love learning through play. This semester I found that many of my students are learning to manage some big emotions when entering the classroom. Building a calming area with items to help them calm down and reflect on their emotions will help build their continued love for school and learning. I want to make sure my students have the best resources when learning to manage their big emotions.
