My Project

My project is to create a calming space where students can take a minute and relax from a busy day or de-escalate from a playground argument.

The wiggle chairs will help relax their bodies.

The timer will help the students know how much time they have to worry until we will talk about what happened. The sensory toys will keep their hands busy. The calming kit will help me give different children different ways to calm down. My personal teaching mantra is to meet all kids where they are, and this set allows me to do that.
