My Project

We love our Calm Corner for regulating emotions throughout the day! Being able to identify and manage their emotions is a big task for our young students. Reading books, using different tools like flash cards and having a comfortable area for communication are just some of the ways that the calm corner is being used in our class.

These resources will help our class improve our Calm Corner and further create a safe learning environment.

The furniture helps our students to feel comfortable in the calm corner. The different tools like flash cards, stuffed animals, and essential oils will help the students effectively calm down and even in being mindful of their emotions.
