My Project

I have a classroom of amazing students with autism. They are each so very different and require lots of choices to help regulate their emotions. These materials will allow my students to learn how to self regulate and find strategies that help them manage their emotions.

It is important for my students to build independence, and with these materials, they will have access to a variety of sensory tools such as the weighted lap pad, the emotional photo library, and foam sensory paint that they can use to calm down and increase success in the classroom.

With these materials I will be able to make choice boards for them to aid them in choosing the calming down tool perfect for them.
