This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students at Brooklyn EEC are a great students that have two things in common; they all live in Boyle Heights or East Los Angeles two low income communities and they all face various challenges. These fidget toys, flash cards, and other materials will be used to teach Social Emotional Learning/ education.

Social Emotional Learning (SEL) concepts offer an added dimension to education, which focus on improving cooperation, communication, and decision-making.

In a world where emotional intelligence is essential for lifelong happiness, successful careers, and healthier relationships, SEL gives students a foundation for developing these skills.
