My Project

This project was created to help support the social-emotional wellbeing of students. Calming corners are extremely beneficial and allows students to be aware of their own emotions. With this project, students will learn how to identify the different emotions they experience and ways to better regulate them. Calm-down corners are a safe space to process emotions in a way that is free of distractions and judgement.

With your generous donation, I will be able to provide students with a safe and supportive space that is filled with manipulatives, comfortable seating, and a calming atmosphere.

The items in this project will help bring our classroom vision to life. The flexible seating arrangements will provide students with different seating options to ensure their comfortability. Emotional regulation books, markers, stress balls, headphones, clipboards, and the breathing ball will provide students with activities that they can do to destress or calm down. The LED lights, rug, and posters will add cozy finishing touches.
