Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will provide my students with Autism tools to support social emotional learning and meet their sensory needs to succeed in the classroom. These items will not only help to promote strategies that teach them to self-regulate their emotions, but also meet their sensory needs to focus and recover from overwhelming situations. By explicitly teaching these coping strategies and giving them the tools to help them reach the "green" zone.

Students will thrive academically, socially, and most importantly have a happy and functional classroom.

I am confident with this donation, I can create an environment that my students LOVE and DESERVE!
