Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are easily motivated and eager to learn. Coming back from the pandemic, they are learning to express and control their feelings with the daily challenges. Learning how to self regulate, is an important piece of social emotional learning. This space will further communicate and enhance co-created expectations in the classroom. My students are learning to respect and honor ones emotions and feelings. In this space, students will be able to journal, draw, breathe, de-escalate in mindful activities before rejoining the classroom learning. The space will provide opportunities to regain composure and problem solve.
