Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These books and tools will help students' socioemotional needs by enhancing emotional intelligence and growth mindset. Our school serves a large population of homeless students that unfortunately have often experienced trauma and multiple changes in their lives.

The bilingual books will help me provide support to our Spanish speaking students, to make them feel welcomed and included, by having resources in their native language.

The calming tools will help me enhance my calming room where students are welcome to come when needing emotional support to address big emotions and utilize healthy coping strategies.
