Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our middle school students need resources to help them calm down when they are having a difficult time. At this age, students need a lot of support to manage their feelings and to figure out who they are. The goal of this project is to provide our students with a safe space to go when they are having a hard time managing their emotions. We have a patio area outside of our library that will be perfect to use to set up this calming area for our teenagers. Our students are special because they are outgoing, creative, and eager learners!
