My Project

I am a School Social Worker at AAES and I would like to create a calm corner in either our counseling office or a room that the School Psychologist and I utilize for groups. We get referrals daily where students are very distraught and this would be a safe, calm space for students to calm down/regulate before returning to class. We would also use it to create a safe and supportive environment for students who are actively in crisis. The requested materials will create the framework for us to fill our space with additional activities to assist with regulation (books, soothing music, art supplies, stress balls, fidget toys, etc.) Thank you for considering my project!
