Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am seeking support for this project designed to create a calming, welcoming, and supportive environment for my students. With the addition of a recliner chair and coffee table, we aim to design a designated space where students can take a break, regroup, and return to their work with a sense of calm and focus. These pieces will help create a quiet space where students can de-stress during difficult moments, making it easier for them to regulate their emotions and remain engaged in learning. This calming area will be a vital resource for fostering emotional well-being and academic success.

In addition, we are requesting backpacks and wallets to provide students with essential tools to keep their belongings organized and ready for success.

These backpacks and wallets will serve as prizes for students who demonstrate hard work and progress, as well as provide much-needed resources for those who may not have access to them. By offering these items, we hope to show our students that their efforts are valued while ensuring they have the practical items they need to stay organized and prepared for school. With your help, this project will make a meaningful difference in the daily lives of our students.
