My Project

Our reading and calming corner is used throughout the day and daily for all different types of reasons. Students take the time to sit here and take an emotional break and brain break. Lots of times during reading time students do love to grab a book and just lay back and read comfortably. My goal is to provide an area where not only do they feel safe but an area that brings warmth to them being there.

I also believe providing an area that is also cute and has things that catch their eyes will draw them to want to sit and read a book more and spend more time in our reading area.
