My Project

I hope to give my students access to more sensory activities and calming accessories for our classroom. These books will offer other alternatives to help soothe emotions when they are feeling they need help. The books can be used individually or as a group to learn how to cope with “big” feelings. I have also requested fidgets for when they are feeling squirmy and need assistance controlling their movements. I have included plushies and other calming toys. Any assistance in improving the social emotional help for my students, as well as calming techniques will be greatly appreciated and useful for many years to come.
