Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello, thank you for taking a look at this special project. This year, the focus at my school is to foster the love of reading for all of our students.

I have a vision of creating a comfortable reading nook where students will want to read just to be in that special designated space.

I am kindly requesting your support with funding a large bean bag and other decorative items that will help me create a calm, reading space. The students were also involved in the process and they selected these items. In addition,

I am also asking for a microwave for quick snacks I can give to my students, like oatmeal, on a day they miss breakfast and can't concentrate because they are hungry. Other items I selected include artificial plants, a large digital clock, a string of lights, flower vines, and an area organizer to bring this space to life. This area will also be used when a student needs a space to regulate their emotions and feel better about any situation they are facing. Thanks again for your support in making this project possible.
