Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are curious, hardworking, and eager to learn, but they thrive best in a structured and sensory-supportive environment. Many of them benefit from hands-on, differentiated learning experiences that cater to their unique academic and sensory needs. Providing the right tools, both for organization and sensory regulation, ensures they can stay engaged, build independence, and achieve their learning goals.

With your generous support, I am requesting plastic sensory bottles that will allow students to create their own calming tools for self-regulation.

These bottles will help students manage emotions, reduce anxiety, and stay focused during lessons. Additionally, I am requesting laminating sheets and Velcro to create durable, hands-on learning materials tailored to each student's needs. These resources will allow me to provide differentiated instruction, ensuring that every student can access the curriculum in a way that works best for them.

To support classroom organization, I am seeking curriculum storage solutions such as bins, file folders, and organizers. These will help keep learning materials easily accessible, reducing distractions and creating a structured learning environment. Finally, dry erase markers will support our token board economy system, which helps reinforce positive behaviors and goal-setting in a visual and interactive way.

With these resources, my students will have a more structured, accessible, and sensory-friendly classroom that fosters both academic and personal growth. The combination of organization, hands-on learning tools, and sensory supports will empower them to stay engaged, self-regulate, and succeed.
