My Project

I absolutely love how resilient and curious my students are. Despite the challenges they face at home and in their community, they come to school eager to learn and grow. Each day is a new opportunity for them to overcome obstacles, and I’m constantly inspired by their strength and determination.

The resources I’m requesting like sensory fidget tubes, stress balls, and phonics games will help address the sensory needs of many of my students who struggle to focus or regulate their emotions due to trauma.

These tools provide a safe way for them to calm down, manage stress, and refocus, which is essential for their learning. The LEGO sets and alphabet puzzles will spark their creativity, improve fine motor skills, and make learning feel more interactive and fun.

My goal for this project is to create a classroom environment where all students, especially those dealing with sensory challenges, can feel supported and succeed academically. I want to give them the tools to thrive, both emotionally and intellectually, so they can develop a love for learning and build the confidence they need to reach their full potential.

What makes my students special is their ability to show up every day, ready to learn, even when life outside the classroom is tough. They have incredible potential, and with the right support, I know they can accomplish amazing things.
