My Project

Fluorescent lighting can be harsh and distracting in the classroom. It can cause headaches and other problems that increase classroom disruptions and undesirable behaviors. The self-management room is where students come to take a break or to have a moment to calm down during these behaviors. I would like to create a classroom that is more comfortable and calming by utilizing these light covers to eliminate some of the brightness and harshness of the overhead lighting, as turning off the lights is also not always the best solution. We have a lot of natural lighting in the room, but still need the overhead lights at times.
