My Project

Please help my students have a place where they feel safe and comfortable. I will create a calm corner in my classroom where students can use fidget toys, color, read, and learn to manage their emotions. They will have journals where they can draw and write about their feelings. The deep breathing bear will help them calm down when needed. Supporting students social-emotional learning is crucial in developing engaged learners.

Calm kids learn better.

When students are able and ready to learn, they will use white boards or headphones to support their learning. They will create arts and crafts to go along with our curriculum. Phonics books will help students learn to read at their level. Cardstock and laminating sheets will help me create new centers for them.

Some outdoor toys will help students learn how to play together at recess. Durable pouches will allow students to bring home books to read to their parents. Thank you for supporting student learning!
