My Project

Having access to a calm-down corner is an asset to any classroom. It is a designated space where my students can feel safe to feel and express all the emotions they feel. The calm-down corner will help them to regain control independently. I would like to fill my calm-down corner with fidgets, like finger puzzles, sensory items, and different textures, like sequins wall fabric.

Having access to these calm-down corner materials will provide my students with all that they need to calm down, recollect themselves, and return back to learning with the rest of the class!

Students will be able to easily share their feelings with the feelings management chart. Thank you for your contribution and for supporting the social and emotional health of my students!
