Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I need funding for a calming corner in your classroom because it will significantly benefit the well-being and educational experience of my students. A calming corner provides a dedicated space where students can manage their emotions and stress effectively. This space can be equipped with various tools and resources, such as soft seating, sensory items, and mindfulness materials, which help students regulate their emotions, reduce anxiety, and enhance their ability to focus and learn.

By creating a calming corner, I am promoting a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters emotional well-being and improved academic performance for my students.

My goal is to have students be able to independently engage, get their needs met, and return to the learning environment! Funding for this essential resource will enable me to create a more nurturing and effective learning environment.
