This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year, I have the wonderful opportunity to teach in a smaller classroom setting for students with disabilities. I am aiming to create a calming corner in my classroom that is accessible to all students. After getting to know the students in my class, I just know that this calming corner and the materials will assist my students in self-regulating their emotions.

Our calming corner will be used daily, and these stress balls, fidget toys and other supplies will help my students learn to effectively cope with daily challenges.

The items you help donate to my class today will be used to make our calming corner complete!
