Calm and Ready for Testing

Help me give my students basic needs to get ready for state testing to keep the calm and relaxed. The diffuser is the perfect relaxation tool along with the calming strips.

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My student will be taking the upcoming NJSLA for third grade.

It’s important to me that they have the basics to be calm and relaxed while undergoing the mandated testing.

Sharpened pencils, tissues, hand wash, calming strips, and scented diffusers are all items necessary to continue to create a classroom testing atmosphere that’s both calming and relaxing.

The calming strips adhere easily to their desks and they can rub their finger on them to practice breathing exercises that we have learned to help calm our minds and bodies to get ready for testing.

Kleenex tissues are soft and students can use them not only for their runny noses but also to touch them in their hands to relax.

The whiteboards are really god for learning math techniques. Highlighters we use for reading and writing.
