My Project

My students are in Kindergarten and they are learning to control their emotions, and social skills. My 21 students would use the fidget toys, calming sticks, and calming cuddle ball in our cozy corner for regulating their emotions. The social and emotional books would be used in whole group to teach them kindness, and how to self regulate their feelings. Anxiety is real for these youg learners and many of my students are coming to school for the first time. The impact from the pandemic has affected all of us, and I have seen my Kindergartners suffer with anxiety, and lack of social skills. I want to equip them with the ability to calm their feelings and get ready to learn. I want their Kindergarten experience to be the beginning for an amazing school experience as they learn how to regulate emotions, and treat others with kindness and respect!
