My Students

My Pre-K is made up of nine boys and eight girls. They are a beautiful group of students from diverse cultures and backgrounds. Ranging in ages 4-5, the students are bright, energetic, eager to learn and share their knowledge with others.

I look forward to work everyday because, I get to teach and learn from a unique group of students.

They are the product of loving parents who work hard to provide everyday for their families in Brooklyn, NY. Throughout the school year, we will learn from each other through play, music and dance.

My Project

The dramatic play materials I'm requesting are desperately needed for our kitchen area. My Pre-K class is a new 3rd section opened for the 2018-2019 school year. I have beautiful brand new furniture but, no accessories to play with.

The kitchen accessories in our dramatic play area will help support the students to learn appropriate social skills such as taking turns talking on the push-button play phone.

Waiting patiently to dry dishes near the sink, staying focused on cooking with the pots and pans on the stove. Also, the materials will help support math and literacy by practicing to categorize and organize the groceries in the refrigerator or kitchen cabinets. Lastly, the students will play while building on communication with peers.
