My Students

My students are part of an inclusion class and most of them need a lot of one on one and small group time. During a regular day we study English Language Arts, math, science, and social studies. My students try as hard as they can but will always need that extra help. They are wonderful children and I hope you can help.

My classroom consist of a 40/60 ratio.

Forty percent are special education children and others are a mix of ESL and general education. They are all individually special and struggle with education as well as everyday problems children normally face. Every one of them are respectful and truly want to learn and better themselves. Absolutely amazing students!

My Project

My students work in small groups or one on one during different subjects throughout the day. During the small group time we use individual white boards and are in desperate need of dry erase markers. This will allow each child to have their own pen and will also allow me to work with more children at once. We are also doing research papers on the Westward Expansion. Children have been working for the past 2 weeks on these amazing writing pieces and the bulletin board set will help bring out their papers even more. Our class is also in desperate need of a new pencil sharpener. We have one now in class but it needs to be plugged and unplugged every time it is used because it makes loud noises if it is not unplugged. It also does not sharpen well. Having a good sharpener will definitely benefit this class.

Having these products will make all my students happy.

They come from so little that any thing they get they appreciate more then anything. What better way to make a child happy then to help them receive the things they need to benefit their education.
