My Project

With the lingering impacts of COVID-19 my first graders would greatly benefit from adding reading materials to our classroom. Youngster enjoy reading along with books on CD. Many students also have had less interaction with other children and need to learn how to manage their feelings and get along with others. Books are a great way to teach both. Pictures books enrich children’s lives with words and art which promotes vocabulary, fluency, comprehension and their own creativity. Strong readers have more confidence and tend to be more successful in school and life.
