Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Throughout the school year my students gravitate to the art center daily! They love to explore the different materials and use their creative imaginations. The opportunity to participate in art and crafts, brings a smile to their faces and makes them feel happy.

Arts and crafts offer children a chance to learn and grow in a fun and creative environment.

When my students have the tools to explore, art materials and craft supplies to create, they can explore their passion and express themselves and individual differences through art. Arts and crafts provide a wealth of benefits for children, from developing problem solving skills and fine motor development, to building self confidence, improving mental health, teamwork and communication skills.

This project provides endless opportunities for my students to learn, explore and be creative. They will build bird houses, paint their own wind chimes, design butterfly window art, paint suncatchers and create Spring flower pots.
