This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
They love to be outside and are eager to learn new sports. Currently, we are learning to play a variety of sports and my students are learning that there is a sport for everyone to promote an active healthy lifestyle. My students have a strong desire to learn to play all these different sports, but they lack the equipment and knowledge to do so. Our students are from a low income neighborhood where all children receive free meals and it would mean so much to them to be able to have new basketballs and other equipment.
