Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

During the last month, I have noticed that a lot of the calculators in the classroom no longer work. New calculators will allow scholars to practice their science skills with more ease. Although we have some functional calculators, oftentimes scholars have to share with 2-3 other scholars.

With new and functional calculators, I can teach the class to appropriately use calculators so they can become successful in any STEM field.

Our scholars come from the Bronx and are determined to learn and grow as leaders. My goal is to guide and support the scholars to achieve their goals, no matter the timeline or size.
