My Students
The school that I am working for is a low income school where 100% of the students receive free lunch. Technology is a necessity in today's society and calculators are an even bigger necessity, especially in a math class. My class doesn't even have enough calculators for half of the class.
In order for my students to be successful in school and in life, they need calculators now.
These calculators will help my students understanding of concepts and help them to become proficient with their calculators.
My Project
My students will become more effective math students and will become proficient with a graphing calculator before middle school. My goal is to eventually have enough calculators for each student.
I believe that for my students to reach their full potential as a successful math student, they need these graphing calculators.
They will be more confident and more effective in learning.
