My Project

My students are diverse and come form different backgrounds all around New York City. The calculators will help students learn mathematical foundations. The learning to use a calculator will help their mathematical fluency. A lesson we will do is a calculator activity and students will discover who to use the calculator. The technology will also help the students problem solving skills because they will learn on their own how to use the calculator. The students will be thrilled to have calculators in the classroom to use when they need them.
