My Project

I am reaching out to request support for our classroom by providing a class set of graphing calculators. As an educator in a Title I school, many of our students face financial challenges that prevent them from purchasing essential tools for their education. This year, I am teaching an introduction to statistics course for seniors who require advanced graphing calculators to excel in their studies.

Graphing calculators are critical for performing complex statistical analyses that are otherwise difficult and time-consuming to complete by hand.

These calculators not only facilitate accurate data analysis but also allow students to explore and understand statistical concepts more deeply. Without access to these tools, our students may struggle to fully grasp the material, which could impact their overall performance and confidence in their mathematical abilities.

Currently, we do not have a full set of graphing calculators for our class. Each student needs their own calculator to fully engage with the coursework and to develop the skills necessary for success in higher education and beyond. By donating a class set of graphing calculators, you will be providing our students with an invaluable resource that will enhance their learning experience and support their academic growth.

Your generosity will help bridge the gap for students who might otherwise be left behind due to a lack of resources. With your support, our seniors will have the opportunity to develop essential skills and succeed in their statistics course, better preparing them for future academic and career endeavors.
