Help me give my students classroom supplies and back to school bee themed gifts to get them excited for the year!

My Project

My school is located in a rural low income area and supplies are limited. This Buzzing Back to School project will include school supplies for my students as they buzz into first grade. Just think, on the first day of school, what better way to get them excited than by having a bag full of goodies on their desk. This will include bee themed stickers, bracelets, keychains, and pencils. I love each of my students and want them to have a passion for learning.

All students deserve to have the necessary supplies to be successful.

The school supplies listed would better prepare my students to start the new school year. Pencils, a pencil sharpener, pencil dispenser, notebooks, markers, headphones, and folders will help my students begin the learning journey in my classroom. Having these school supplies will impact all of my students learning in whole group and small groups. Being in a low income area, this will be one less thing for my students to have to worry about. I plan to use the disinfectant wipes to keep my student’s desks clean. In return, keeping my students healthy!

I will also be incorporating desk pets into my classroom. My goal with the desk pets are to encourage responsibility and positive behavior within my classroom. Students can earn desk pets to take care of throughout the year.
