This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have began their animal unit, and they have been learning about animal habits and life cycles. I want my students to have a once in a lifetime experience. My students will be thrilled and engaged once they get to observe their own caterpillar turn into a butterfly. My students will each create their habitat, which will help build a sense of responsibility. At the science station, my students will be able to read books on butterflies and gather research for their observations. My students will be engaged using the magnifying glasses to observe the butterfly up close. Please help my students become butterfly experts!
