Busy Bees are Hard at Work!

Help me give my students wobble chairs for those that require flexible seating to help them concentrate in the classroom. Basic supplies are also needed for our entire class for everyday productivity.

My Students

I teach a group of diverse students at a charter school in Las Vegas. COVID has impacted them academically and socially, but their love of learning still shines brightly. My students love to be in the classroom after not having had the chance to be around their peers for over a year. Our classroom is their safe place to learn, grow and make mistakes. Currently we are learning multiplication and division. They love to play games, dance, and create art.

My Project

Children love to move and play to learn. Some of my students struggle with controlling their movements during learning time. The use of wobble chairs in my classroom would be a wonderful addition so I can help all different types of learners succeed. My students also love to move around the classroom when doing group work. It keeps them engaged and gets their brains and bodies moving. Having access to clipboards would allow them to work efficiently. Another one of my student's favorite things to do in the classroom is to play games, which I encourage to build classroom community. We often use dry erase markers and boards to show our work when playing games. I have also chosen additional supplies that will effectively help me teach my students in the classroom.
