My Project

I am co-leading a girls group called My Sister’s Keeper. They are currently learning about how to be a good citizen. When asked how they wanted to serve in their community, one of the ideas was to make activity/busy bags for the children in the hospital.

My goal is to open the world to those young women and show them that they can make a difference.

Even though they themselves may be from challenging backgrounds, giving back is a conduit for healing.

I love these girls! They are eager to experience and learning something new. While they do not always get along, working together on projects has definitely brought them closer together. I know creating these bags together will do the same.
