My Students

Everyday is buzzing with excitement in kindergarten. Singing, stories, dancing, listening, building, exploring, problem solving, and thinking are just a few things you will see as you enter our "hive." Coming to school is good, but loving to learn is the goal!

There are eighteen students in my full day kindergarten classroom.

These five and six year olds are busy, busy, busy. Learning together through experiences make memories that last. Our warm and welcoming country school has quickly grown into a larger school with limited resources due to budget cuts. Bee ready! Bee responsible! Bee respectful! These are our mantra.

My Project

These MagnaTiles will be used during work station time for approx twenty to forty minutes everyday. The children will have an opportunity to explore independently while other small group, teacher-guided lessons occur simultaneously. Three to for children will work cooperatively to create structures and learn to share and problem solve together through play.

Donations to this project will allow students to be independent learners.

Children will explore STEM activities that lead to interests in science and mathematics. Problem solving and sharing through hands-on activities also gives them opportunities to work cooperatively with others.
