My Project

I am eager to introduce my next year's students to the wonders of nature by bringing adorable baby bunnies into our learning environment. This year we were given an opportunity to spend three weeks with baby bunnies. This was the best three weeks of the school year for me. I watched my students become nurturers and research assistants. The students took on caring for these baby bunnies with the utmost seriousness. I have watched students searching online "how to care for bunnies" and "what snacks can I give bunnies". I have also seen students with emotional and behavioral problems talking, reading and even calming their body so that they could hold a bunny.

These furry friends won't just bring smiles to our students' faces but also serve as invaluable teaching aids.

Through caring for the bunnies, our students will learn important lessons in responsibility, empathy, and animal welfare. Moreover, observing the bunnies will spark curiosity and provide unique opportunities for hands-on learning about biology, behavior, and the natural world.

However, we need your support to make this happen. Your generous donation will directly contribute to the care and well-being of the baby bunnies, ensuring they have a safe and nurturing environment in our classroom. We were given a special opportunity this school year, but we are not going to get that opportunity again and it breaks my heart for my upcoming 4th graders to not have the same experience as this class got.
