Students at my school come together from many different backgrounds and abilities to create a beautiful community that we call home. We have both self-contained Montessori classes and self-contained gifted classrooms, as well as our mainstream classrooms, so we are able to meet a large variety of learning styles and student needs.
My students are curious about how the world works, and I try to foster that curiosity with project-based curriculum, and hands-on learning experiences.
Our space is a place where we can come together and build while exploring concepts in science, the arts, engineering, and more. My students will have hands-on technical training as well as traditional learning along with analysis and debate.
My Project
The more time spent playing a sport, the more athletes learn. The more diverse their training, the faster they grow. Lost time because of the need to gather up volleyballs means time away from practice, from training. We continue to add more teams to our program as the school gets bigger every year, and so we need more equipment to train the next generation of athletes.
Our athletes greatly benefit from more repetitions, specified training, and diversity of activities.
The products that I have selected will give our athletes more opportunities to grow both physically and mentally in the game of volleyball. More volleyballs means more time spent on drills and new equipment means new exercises to train for competition.
