My Project

This year, I am teaching a Creative Journaling elective. Students have been using these journals in multiple ways: they track their responsibilities, their workouts, their habits, and their moods. They've read self-help texts and written reflections on them. They track their favorite books, movies, and songs. They draw and doodle. They make plans for their futures. Chris, a student in the class, says, "It helps me take what's stuck in my head and leave it on paper." Skai told me, "My journal makes it possible for me to schedule my life."
